IKKA Mission Statement The purpose of our Association is to continue to perpetuate the teachings of SGM Ed Parker while allowing personal preference, expression and variable expansion within the Art. Our intention is to reunite the Brotherhood of Kenpo by not playing politics, providing a solid base to teach and learn from and by supporting your efforts to learn Kenpo, regardless of your lineage or version of Kenpo you practice. We do not wish to control or manipulate your Kenpo Journey. The Art of SGM Parkers's Kenpo is worldwide, varied and has many sources. Realizing this huge body of information and rich history of our Kenpo, we welcome all who have been exposed to these teachings. We will work towards perpetuating the Art of American Kenpo throughout the world and support those individuals who seek to study and teach Ed Parker's American Kenpo System. We are not concerned about whether or not you teach the 32 System, the 24 System, the 16 System, or any other "types" of American kenpo. If what you teach has its roots in t he teachings of SGM Parker, then we want to support you and your efforts. Contact Robert Ashmore for more information and visit www.ikkaonline.org |
